Everything between the app and ABooks.app travels encrypted (https only). No tracking of what you read. Shared notes are protected with a password.
Yes. An ABooks activation code works on Android and Windows. Each code has a number of places; each device uses one.
Tap the big speaker button. Audiobooks play in their original voice; any other book is read by your phone's voice or by a free ABooks natural voice (offered when you first open the app, or any time in Settings › Audio), at the speed and pitch you choose, with the words lighting up as they are spoken.
Yes. Books you have added are stored on your device, so you can read and listen offline. You only need internet to browse the free catalogues or download new books.
From the ABooks Community and well-known free libraries such as Project Gutenberg, Wikisource, Gallica, Ebooks Gratuits and Unglue.it. They are public-domain books or books shared freely by their authors.
The app is available in 30 languages, and free books are shown in your own language first.
